Some 5,000 bulk carriers trade around the world, providing a crucial service to world commodities' transportation.Bulk freight is freight that is transported in large quantities, without being packaged. It refers to material in either liquid or granular, particulate form, as a mass of relatively small solids, such as petroleum/crude oil, grain, coal, or gravel.
